Wood Technology

The Guidelines for the Classroom-Based Assessments in Wood Technology have been updated and are available under the 'Assessment Guidelines' tab.

Under the current Framework for Junior Cycle, students have access to a suite of technology subjects: Engineering, Wood Technology, Graphics and Applied Technology.

Junior Cycle Wood Technology aims to develop the necessary conceptual understanding, disciplinary skills, and subject knowledge to investigate and solve real-life problems while progressing the development of a range of manipulation skills through processing wood and other materials
